Hey Guys! I gotta a question! I'm from Brazil and I wanna study in the US (college) I know that in order to get student visa I have to show proof of financial funds...(full tuition) However, if I receive a scholarship, let's say, 5.000 will I still have to show proof of full tuition payment? or the amount minus the scholarship? (i.e. 35.000 - 5.000 = 25000 for tuition) I really wanna study in the US but the financial aspect makes it very difficult so I appreciate any help! Thanks

What makes you even think that the American govt. is going to give you (as opposed to an American citizen) money to study in the U.S? If you can come up with the tuition, probably any university will take you (not just those in America), provided you have the prerequisites for admission. What is so great about an American education, anyway? From what I am led to believe, based upon the entries to this website, an American education is substandard. You don't want a substandard education, do you? England, or any other European country would be vastly superior to America (that seems to be the general consensus on yahoo). You don't want to waste your money on a second-rate American education, do you?
